schedule change. (and the rage reset)

Hey Mama!!

There are a couple of things I wanted to share with you today.

#1 The Rage Rest

In last week’s youtube video, I shared my favorite 30-Second Rage Rest (you can watch it below):

This quick little reset is perfect for when you are noticing rage bubbling up.

But, what if you don’t notice it until you’ve flipped your lid?!

Which is what I want to dig a little deeper with today….. the Warning Signs of Rage.

Surprisingly, mom rage doesn’t come out of no where.

Typically… it’s a snowball effect…

Think of the 30 little chaotic moments that led up to feeling rage….

9 times out of 10… Moms are overwhelmed, burned out, and mostly anxious… so they are defaulting to rage.

One of the KEYS to not reacting to the feeling of rage is by knowing YOUR warning signs.

I am going to give you some common “symptoms” I see with moms I coach.. but the BEST way to know yours is by keeping a journal.

After a moment of rage (when you are feeling calm again), begin observing your body. What were you feeling BEFORE rage?

You may not be able to remember… and that’s okay!!

This will prompt you to be a little more aware next time you start to feel rage again.

Warning Signs that Rage is Coming:

  • Upset stomach
  • Tightness in the Chest
  • Clenching of your Jaw
  • Sweaty Palms
  • All over Sweats
  • Feeling Hot
  • Tense Shoulders
  • Heart beating Fast

#2 Podcast is changing to WEEKLY!!

As I find myself with a little more time, I am changing the Podcast to WEEKLY!!

It will go live each Wednesday at 8 am!!

This means that every other week you will get a Youtube Video on Monday Mornings at 8am.

Because I will be sharing a lot more content, I will be sure to link it all in our Monday Morning Emails… but I’ll be a little behind!

So, if you want to get notified when the videos are LIVE on Youtube… you will want to Subscribe and make sure your notifications are turned on.

Anyhow, I hope you have a good week…. and Happy Parenting ❤️

-Alexis
