the tiniest ways to (lower stress) as a mom.

Hey Mama!!

In the beginning of my healing journey, I was SO overwhelmed, overstimulated, and dysregulated that I couldn’t even do deep breathing.

I thought I was just one of those people who deep breathing didn’t work for.

So instead, I focused on tiny things that I could do to lower my stress and make my life a little easier.

Last week, I shared two videos on Youtube #1 – 3 *tiny* things to MAKE LIFE EASIER as a Stay-at-Home Mom (which you can watch below):

Video #2 – 5 (small) ways to LOWER STRESS for busy Stay-at-Home Moms (which you can watch below):

The more mamas I talk to, the more I realize how stressed we are.

Sometimes it seems like the burden of motherhood is greater than ever… and yet like it shouldn’t feel that way.

Today, I want to dive a little deeper into this belief that motherhood is a burden.

Do you find yourself dreading… maybe even wishing (at times) that you didn’t have to be a mom. Not because you don’t love your children immensely, but because you feel stressed out!

I’ve absolutely been there.

Recently, I fell into a season of dreading the daily ups and downs of being a stay-at-home mom.

I thought IF I could get a break… I’d feel better.

Shockingly.. when I got that break I only felt “better” temporarily.

I hated this. I didn’t want to feel this way. And yet, I did.

It all was rooted in this belief that Motherhood was a burden… instead of a journey of healing.

I told myself it was exhausting, draining, and hard.

I began journaling daily to work through this unwanted belief.

I was AMAZED to see how this belief was holding me back from being the Mother that I so desperately wanted to be.

This is what gave me the idea to give you a Journaling prompt in our Emails each week!

I hope these will help you to dive deeper into your healing journey and bring more clarity and understanding around things.

Journaling Prompt for this Week:

  • What is your belief about Motherhood? How is this holding you back?

Anyhow, I hope this email has encouraged you…. and Happy Parenting ❤️

-Alexis
